Welcome to the 2024 Alberta Association of Midwives (AAM) Conference! After a brief pause, we’re thrilled to bring midwives from across Alberta together for a dynamic event that highlights our resilience and celebrates our progress. With nearly 190 practicing midwives and 37 students, AAM remains dedicated to advancing maternity care across the province. This conference is an invaluable opportunity to connect, learn, and equip ourselves with the latest knowledge to continue providing exceptional care to pregnant people and babies in every community.
We look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and forging new professional relationships as we delve into diverse perspectives and innovative approaches in midwifery. Our goal is to expand the reach of midwifery across Alberta, elevate care standards, and promote greater diversity in the field. We warmly invite midwives, students, supporters, sponsors, and exhibitors to join us in making this conference a milestone event that advances inclusive maternal and newborn health for a brighter future.
