We are looking for a new member to join our team!
Beginnings Midwifery Care is an established practice of registered midwives working to provide personalized supportive care to growing families in Edmonton & surrounding areas.
A full permanent position is available immediately. We have a practice of 4 other midwives allowing for time off and prioritizing self care and family. Work-life balance is important with each team member establishing their preferred call schedule and booking approx. 8 weeks holidays per year.
We have a strong commitment to supporting clients in their choice of birth place and have a considerable home birth population – Edmonton has the highest home birth rate in Canada! We offer birth at the birth centre in Edmonton and hospital birth as well. Beginnings is a long-standing practice with established relationships with OBs and hospital staff. We have privileges at the Royal Alexandra and Grey Nuns hospitals.
Beginnings has a beautiful clinic and office space. We hold prenatal, breastfeeding, spinning babies and hypno babies classes out of our space offered by a group of specialized doulas. We have full time admin staff so all booking and clerical tasks are taken care of! Disposable equipment is supplied. Our competitive practice fee covers all of your needs.
